The 1968 Mercury Cougar is a casting by Matchbox that debuted for the 2004 Superfast line and is designed by Dave Weise. There are 2 variations of this casting, one with closed headlights and the other with exposed headlights. The casting's number was either MB636 for the closed headlights or MB637 for exposed headlights and was in production from 2004 to 2010 (Closed) or 2004 to 2009 (Exposed) when Matchbox's license with Mercury expired.
