Line History[]
The 50th Anniversary Superfast series debuted for 2019 across all retailers. The castings created for this line have opening features, are fully detailed, and have premium two piece wheels and rubber tires. Early batches have the 50th Anniversary badge printed on the vehicle, while later reissues removed the badge. The line was created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Superfast series which was originally debuted by Lesney in 1969 in response to Mattel's Hot Wheels series of vehicles.
The line was succeeded by the Superfast Series for 2020.
