Abe Lugo is a Mattel designer who has worked for both the Hot Wheels and Matchbox brands. He formerly used to work at Jakks Pacific before joining Mattel in 2008. His current position as a Matchbox Designer started in 2013. He is mostly responsible for suggesting and designing classic American muscle cars from the 1930s to the 1960s ever since.
