- Note: The model has "AMERICAN FORD STATION WAGON" on the baseplate. The Matchbox model is often incorrectly referred to as a Ford Fairlane Station Wagon, however Ford did not use the name Fairlane on any of the station wagons in its 1959 US range. It is a model of the 1959 Ford "Country Sedan" wagon. [2]
