Model History[]
The Autocar ACX Garbage Truck is a casting that debuted for the 2009 Real Working Rigs series.
The body is based off of a Heil Durapack Rapid Rail Side Loader, although the tailgate is not flat in real life. Prior to the casting change, the arm went up and down, and the bin in the claw also moved.
The casting has a number of RW-002 and originally produced from 2009 to 2011 when it was discontinued.
It returned to the Working Rigs series in 2019, although due to Matchbox losing the license for Autocar, the casting was redone, now called the Garage King HD. The arm formerly moved up and down but no longer does. It has remained in production ever since.
