This is the Matchbox model of an American Fire Pump Truck. It often has the "La France" Manufacturer/Builder attributed as the inspiration for the vehicle. However, this model shares many more characteristics with the "MAXIM" vehicles favoured by small Midwestern Townships in the '60s and '70s. It has been issued in the following versions:
