Vehicle History

Produced from 2006 to 2014, the first generation Honda Ridgeline is a class 2a light truck offered in a 4 door pickup body style. The first of 2 mid size pickups produced by Honda, the Ridgeline has a in bed trunk and targeted buyers outside of Honda's demographics who were interested to purchase a pickup truck.

The Matchbox 2007 Honda Ridgeline is based on the pre facelift model of the Honda Ridgeline produced from 2006 to 2008. It made its debut for the 2007 mainline for the 1-75 series under the sub series of MBX Metal in Light Blue. The casting had a number of MB705 and was originally in production from 2007 to 2014 when it was discontinued. It returned in 2017 after a 3 year hiatus, retooled for easier assembly. The interior and bed has been reworked, adding metal to the plastic bed and the removal of the gas cap, and thicker side mirrors. It now has a number of MB1071 and resumed in production ever since.
