Line History[]
The Jurassic World (2015 Series) was released across all retailers to coincide with the release of the fourth Jurassic Park movie, Jurassic World. Unlike 1997's The Lost World: Jurassic Park product line, these vehicles generally have no connection to vehicles actually depicted in the film, the notable exceptions being the 4x4 Scrambulance which is somewhat similar to the on-screen Mercedes Unimog U 4000 Mobile Veterinary Units whose markings it wears and the Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 which is similar to the Chevrolet C-2500 construction pickup seen in the film. It consisted of regular models, 2 pack sets, Mission Force packs, and 5 packs, all containing preexisting Matchbox licensed and generic castings.
The line was succeeded by the Jurassic World (2018 Series).
