- An ancient burial site has been discovered in the depths of the desert. Only the Sahara Survivor and its powerful engine, solid body and awesome gripping tires can get you through this harsh desert to the secret site. Now you're ready to begin the excavation and reveal some ancient secrets!
—From the 2010 and 2011 Desert Endurance cards - First versions with metal body, where the spare wheel on the hood isn't visibly connected to the roll bar simulates working suspension. This means the axle is mounted on a pivot, allowing slight wheel oscillation up and downwards.
