Vehicle History[]
Produced from 2002 to 2016, the first generation Volvo XC90 is a mid size crossover luxury SUV offered as a 5 door SUV. Built on the same platform as the Volvo S80, the XC90 is Volvo's first foray in the growing SUV market and particular a favorite of former host of Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson, who owned 3 of them.
The Matchbox Volvo XC90 debuted for the 2005 mainline under the 1-75 series under the subline of the Buried Treasure series in Silver-Gray. The casting has a number of MB674 and was in production from 2005 to 2010 until it was discontinued.
